NOKIA 6101 or 6102 Won't vibrate

 So your new Nokia won't vibrate. Read the info below for a reason you won't believe!.

Did you just get it? Your sitting at your desk, it's charging away. You set it up by Nokias very poorly written manual. So you get your house phone and dial your new number. The new phone rings but no vibrate. So you go thru all the ring profiles. Normal, Meeting, Silent and Outdoor. WHAT!? You didn't know it had an OUTDOOR MODE? Anyway you customize each profile and set the vibrate to "ON" Dial your number another half dozen times to find out it still doesn't vibrate when it rings... So you dial the Nokia hotline and get put on hold for 15 minutes. Finally some guy with an accent answers. You go through his little pre recorded spiel, but that phone just won't vibrate. He tells you to return the phone and exchange it for another one. NO, No, NO I don't want to! the Cingular kiosk is closed til Monday!

So whats the answer?,,,,, UNPLUG THE CHARGER! Thats right, Nokia phones won't vibrate with the charging cord plugged in and phone charging. Now wouldn' t all that frustrating two hours been un-needed if Nokia had simply put that info in their instruction manual?
